IBM Corp. has been quietly developing its first Windows CE device, based on the latest version of Microsoft Corp.'s operating system, code-named Jupiter. But unlike some other handheld PC vendors that are targeting consumers - and scrambling to get their Jupiter devices out by the Christmas season - IBM says its Windows CE products will be sold as part of a complete system for mobile business users. Expect to see a Windows CE device next year from IBM that is designed to access Lotus Notes databases remotely.
